This is a blank note card reproduction of “Idyll” – an original mixed-media photo and encaustic artwork I made in 2016. It shows a beautiful and ethereal landscape of pink flowers, Cyprus trees, with a large soft cloud on the horizon, framed by blossoming fruit trees. This is my take on a Michael Parks' style landscape and was created with a combination of multiple film photographic images from my vintage medium-format Hasselblad camera that have been combined together, scanned, and "painted" digitally to make it more ethereal and otherworldly.
