This is a blank note card reproduction of my photograph "Fade" - an original mixed-media photo and encaustic artwork I made in 2015. This combines imagery of Bear Grass, a plant found in high elevation forests in the Pacific Northwest, along with an image of a frozen lake in North Dakota, where everything was coated in hoar frost. The process is to use multiple film photographic images that I have combined together, scanned, and "painted" digitally to make it more ethereal and otherworldly.
