This is a blank note card reproduction of "Sorrow, Act 1" - an original mixed-media photo and encaustic artwork I made in 2017. This combines multiple images of bare branches, dying flowers, and a crow flying by. This image has the feel of solitary contemplation, and works well for expressing sympathy and grief. The process uses multiple film photographic images that I have combined together, scanned, and "painted" digitally to make it more ethereal and otherworldly.
